In einer offenen Recherchephase hostet die Operation Alien Love Ende November drei Events im Hotel, um gemeinsam mit externen Artists und mit Publikum einer Vision der Voice(s) of the Future näherzukommen. Science-Fiction, Feminismus und das Interesse an menschlichen und nichtmenschlichen Stimmen sind die verbindenden Elemente. Weiter geht es mit OAL dann im Januar 2022.
Operation Alien Love präsentiert: Lust for voices – Karaoke Session
Nach einer Woche voller Voice-Workshops, Stimmband-Stretchings und Sci-Fi-Inputs lädt die Operation Alien Love am letzten Abend ihrer Hotel-Residency zur 60-minütigen Ekstase. Wir legen Effekte auf unsere Stimmen und die Stimmen dann ohne Kompromisse in den großen Saal, schmettern futuristische Hits gegen Autotune-Wände und lassen Synthies und Gitarren gegen das verfälschte Vibrato unserer hauseigenen Klangapparate säbeln. Die Besucher*innen dürfen je ein Stück aus dem OAL-kuratierten Songkatalog auswählen und ihre Voices durch unseren Stimm-Manipulator in den Raum schmeißen. Kommt ohne Anmeldung vorbei! Was die Songauswahl betrifft, gilt first come first serve, denn eine Stunde ist schnell vorbei.
In an open research phase Operation Alien Love is hosting three events at the Schauspielhaus-hotel in late November. Together with external artists and the audience we want to get closer to a vision of the Voice(s) of the Future. Science fiction, feminism and an interest in human and non-human voices are the unifying elements. An experiment for us, for you, with anyone who wants to participate. The events are accessible online and/or analog. OAL will continue in January 2022.
Operation Alien Love präsentiert: Lust for voices – Karaoke Session
After one week of voice workshops, vocal cord stretching and sci-fi inputs, Operation Alien Love invites you to a 60-minute ecstasy on the last night of its hotel residency. We’ll put effects on our voices and smash them into the main hall of the hotel. Participants each get to choose one track from the OAL-curated song catalog before shouting them through our very own sound manipulator and from there into the hotel hall.
You can just come by without signing up in advance. We only have one hour, first come, first served!
